May I on behalf of the Yew Tree Disabled Driving Trust and its Trustees, thank each and every person involved in the grant awards at the Wishsprite Foundation for their most generous donation of 1,300 which will pay for wet-weather clothing for our drivers.

We were a mite concerned originally that 500.00, although a vast amount of money, would not buy that many multi-sizes for us and we were quite worried as to how we would be able to make the money stretch out for you nevertheless we are now over the moon and are in discussion with local suppliers for the best deals available.

Over the last three weeks we have had to turn away over 72 members of groups who had booked into Yew Tree since February of this year, due to the torrential rain. It was completely heartbreaking for us to do this ..... we tried driving on one occasion only with a group and were literally soaked through to the skin which wasn't enjoyable for anyone at all. This amount will change everything for us! It's just a pity that they don't make 'macs' for the horses!
